QuizN Terms of Service

QuizN Terms of Service

QuizN · SoftN Inc.

Current Effective Date: January 15, 2026 / Revised Effective Date: November 15, 2026

Article 1Purpose

The purpose of these Terms is to stipulate the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and the User in using the web service QuizN (hereinafter the "Service") operated by SoftN Inc. (hereinafter the "Company").

Article 2Definitions
①"QuizN" refers to a game-based learning platform provided by the Company through websites, mobile phones, portable terminals and other wired/wireless devices, allowing users to create and solve quiz content regardless of age or subject. The Service is divided into free and paid services.
②"User" refers to members and non-members who access the Service through the website or various wired/wireless devices and receive services provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
③"Member" refers to a person who has accessed the website, agreed to these Terms, applied for membership, completed the registration process with the Company's approval and has been granted service usage qualifications (hereinafter the "Account"). Members are classified into "Student Member", "Teacher Member", "Corporate Member" and "Other Member" according to the purpose of use, and refer to those who can continuously use the information and services provided by the Company.
④"Post" refers to information such as quiz content, text, images, various files, links and comments posted by a Member using the QuizN Service.
⑤"Free Service" refers to limited services provided by the Company for the use of QuizN.
⑥"Paid Service" refers to services or vouchers (products) provided by the Company that can be used only when the Member pays a certain amount.
⑦"AI-based Service" refers to services that provide functions such as quiz generation, recommendation and evaluation using artificial intelligence technology.
⑧"Linked Service" refers to a service other than QuizN that the Company directly develops and operates, and that the Company has linked so that Members may use it with their QuizN Account. SoftN Labs and the services registered on Labs fall under this category; even if operated on a separate domain, they are services operated directly by the Company.
⑨"Single Sign-On (SSO)" refers to the method by which the Company transmits the authentication result of the Account and the minimum necessary account information to a Linked Service, so that a Member who is logged in with a QuizN Account may log in to the Linked Service without a separate registration procedure. The items transmitted and the purposes thereof are disclosed in the 「QuizN Privacy Policy」.
Article 3Posting, Explanation and Revision of the Terms
①The Company shall post the contents of these Terms, the company name, representative name, business address (including the address for handling consumer complaints), telephone number, fax number, email address, business registration number, mail-order business report number and the Chief Privacy Officer on the initial service screen (front page) of the website so that Users can easily know them. However, the contents of the Terms may be made available for the User to view through a connected screen.
②Before the User agrees to the Terms, the Company shall provide a separate connected screen or pop-up screen on the QuizN Service website so that the User can understand important matters stipulated in the Terms, such as withdrawal of subscription, delivery responsibility, refund conditions, personal information processing, use of AI-based services, and Linked Services and Single Sign-On, and shall obtain the User's confirmation.
③The Company may revise these Terms to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws such as the 「Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc.」, 「Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions」, 「Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Transactions」, 「Electronic Financial Transactions Act」, 「Digital Signature Act」, 「Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Etc.」, 「Personal Information Protection Act」, 「Framework Act on Consumers」 and 「Framework Act on the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Establishment of a Foundation for Trust」.
④If the Company revises the Terms, it shall specify the effective date and the reason for the revision and post them together with the current Terms on the Terms of Service screen of the website from seven (7) days prior to the effective date until the day before the effective date. However, if the contents of the Terms are changed unfavorably to the User, the posting shall be made with a grace period of at least thirty (30) days in advance. In this case, the Company shall present the contents before and after the revision clearly in the form of a comparison table so that the User can easily understand them.
⑤The revised Terms shall apply to contracts concluded on or after the effective date. In order to apply them to existing contracts, the Company shall individually notify the User of the changes, the effective date and the methods of refusal and termination, and shall obtain the User's consent or follow a valid change procedure under the relevant laws. Silence or mere continued use shall not be deemed approval of personal information processing or conversion to a paid service for which separate consent is required by law. A User who does not agree to the revision may terminate the contract, and refunds for paid services shall be governed by Article 24 and the relevant laws.
Article 4Relationship with Related Laws

Matters not specified in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the 「Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc.」, 「Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions」, 「Personal Information Protection Act」, 「Framework Act on the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Establishment of a Foundation for Trust」, the Consumer Protection Guidelines in Electronic Commerce prescribed by the Fair Trade Commission, and related laws or commercial practices.

Article 5Provision and Change of Service
①The Company provides the following services:
  1. Providing a game-based learning platform offering overall functions to create quiz games (knowledge content) and functions to share and solve quizzes through PIN numbers or unique URLs, as free and paid services.
  2. Functions such as quiz generation, recommendation and evaluation using artificial intelligence technology may be provided. In this case, the Company clearly notifies on the service screen or before use that it is an AI-based service.
  3. Provision and linkage of Linked Services pursuant to Article 5-2.
  4. Other tasks determined by the Company.
②The Company may change the contents of the service to be provided in the future in the case of changes in technical specifications or service improvements. The changed service contents and the date of provision shall be specified on the initial service screen (front page) of the website and announced immediately.
Article 5-2Provision of Linked Services
①The Company may provide Linked Services that it directly develops and operates in addition to QuizN, and Members may use such Linked Services with their QuizN Account.
②A Linked Service may have separate terms of service and a separate privacy policy applicable to it. In such a case, those terms shall apply with priority to that Linked Service, and matters not stipulated therein shall be governed by these Terms. However, if the separate terms stipulate contents less favorable to the User than these Terms, the User's separate consent shall be obtained.
③The 「SoftN Labs Terms of Service」 and the 「SoftN Labs Privacy Policy」 apply to SoftN Labs and the services registered on Labs.
④When a Member uses a Linked Service through Single Sign-On, the Company transmits the account information necessary for the use of that service, and the items transmitted, the purposes, the retention periods and the method of discontinuing use are disclosed in the 「QuizN Privacy Policy」 and in the privacy policy of the relevant Linked Service. For matters requiring separate consent under the law for personal information processing, disclosure alone shall not substitute for such consent, and the consent shall be obtained before transmission. The items transmitted are those among the ID (email address), nickname and profile image that are necessary for the relevant service, and items that are not necessary are not transmitted. The use of essential services shall not be restricted solely on the ground that the User has refused the processing of optional items.
⑤Single Sign-On is a method of authentication linkage between services operated by the Company; it does not create a new account for the Member nor combine different accounts.
⑥A Member may at any time discontinue the use of a particular Linked Service and request deletion of the account information transmitted to that service and of the data created therein; where there are matters processed on the basis of separate consent, the Member may withdraw such consent. The Company shall inform the Member of the scope of the account information and created data to be deleted and whether an export function is supported, and shall destroy them without delay in accordance with the relevant laws and the applicable privacy policy. Information subject to retention under other laws shall be stored separately, and the QuizN Account and the information held by other Linked Services shall not be deleted by such withdrawal alone.
⑦A Linked Service may be an experimental service at a stage prior to official release. In such a case, the suspension of the service and the deletion of created data shall be governed by the 「SoftN Labs Terms of Service」.
Article 6Suspension of Service
①The Company may temporarily suspend or stop the provision of the Service in the event of unavoidable reasons such as maintenance, inspection, replacement or breakdown of information and communication facilities including computers, interruption of communication, national emergency, power outage, a surge in service use or natural disasters.
②If the Company temporarily suspends the Service, the reason and the period of suspension shall be posted in advance on the initial service screen (front page) of the website. However, in urgent cases, notice may be given afterwards.
③The temporary suspension and permanent discontinuation of a Linked Service shall be governed by the terms of service of the relevant Linked Service.
Article 7Membership Registration
①A User applies for membership by filling in member information according to the registration form set by the Company through the website or a terminal and expressing the intention to agree to these Terms.
②The Company registers Users who have applied for membership as described in Paragraph 1 as Members unless they fall under any of the following items:
  1. Where the applicant has previously lost membership status pursuant to Article 8, Paragraph 2 of these Terms. However, an exception is made where thirty (30) days have passed since the loss of membership status under Article 8, Paragraph 2 and the Company has approved re-registration.
  2. Where there is false information, omission or error in the registration details.
  3. Where another person's name has been misappropriated.
  4. Where the capacity of service-related facilities is insufficient.
  5. Where there is a specific and reasonable ground that the registration would violate the relevant laws, compromise account security or cause a material impediment to service operation.
  6. Where the application is made using an already registered ID.
  7. Where the application is confirmed to be for the purpose of unjust profit.
③Acceptance of the application for membership shall be deemed to occur at the time the screen indicating completion of membership registration is displayed and login becomes possible on the Service.
④If there is any change in the matters registered at the time of membership registration, the Member must notify the Company of such change within a reasonable period by means such as modifying the member information.
⑤A Member may use Linked Services pursuant to Article 5-2. The Company shall inform the Member whether the terms of the relevant service apply by posting or by separate consent, shall distinguish this from the notice regarding review of the privacy policy, and shall obtain separate consent where consent is required by law for personal information processing.
Article 8Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification
①A Member may request withdrawal at any time through the withdrawal procedure within the Service or through the customer center. The Company shall not, without justifiable reason, make the withdrawal procedure more complicated than the registration procedure or obstruct withdrawal. Upon withdrawal, the Member's personal information and the data created by that Member in QuizN and in Linked Services shall be destroyed without delay, and the Company applies an internal processing standard of completing destruction within five (5) days from the date of withdrawal unless there is a justifiable reason. However, information subject to retention under other laws and information for which there is a separate lawful basis for processing shall be handled separately in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Destroyed data cannot be recovered, and the termination of and refund for paid contracts shall be governed by Article 24.
②If a Member falls under any of the following items, the Company may suspend or forfeit the membership qualification:
  1. Where false information was registered at the time of application.
  2. Where the Member fails to pay, by the due date, the price of goods purchased using the Service or other debts borne by the Member in connection with the use of paid services.
  3. Where the Member threatens the order of electronic commerce, such as by interfering with another person's use of the Service or misappropriating their information.
  4. Where the Member uses the Service to commit acts prohibited by law or these Terms, or acts contrary to public order and morals.
  5. Where the Member has withdrawn due to fraudulent use, or has already been suspended by the Company.
  6. Where use for the purpose of unjust profit is confirmed.
③Where the Company forfeits a membership qualification, the member registration shall be cancelled. In this case, the Company shall notify the Member and grant an opportunity to explain for a period of at least thirty (30) days before the cancellation of the member registration.
④In order to enforce the thirty (30) day re-registration restriction following the loss of membership qualification, the Company retains the registration email address for thirty (30) days to the minimum extent necessary. Such retention is carried out only within the scope in which a lawful basis and necessity are recognized, is not used for any other purpose, and the information is destroyed without delay once the purpose ceases or the period expires. The specific items and periods are disclosed in the Privacy Policy.
⑤The application of a suspension or loss of membership qualification to Linked Services shall be limited to the scope necessary in light of the nature and gravity of the violation, the security of the shared account and the protection of other users. The Company shall inform the Member of the services affected, the reason, the period and the method of raising an objection. Where there is an urgent security need, the Company may act first and give notice without delay, and shall not excessively restrict rights in respect of unrelated services.
⑥Where a membership qualification is suspended or lost as a result of a decision made by processing personal information through a fully automated system, the User may request an explanation and a review pursuant to Article 15 and may refuse the decision where the statutory requirements are met. The Company shall, in principle, inform the User of the result of its measures within thirty (30) days from the date of the request, and shall extend this period only for the reasons and to the extent permitted by law.
Article 9Notification to Members
①When the Company gives notice to a Member, it may do so to the email address registered by the Member at the time of registration, through an in-service notification or by similar means.
②In the case of notice to an unspecified number of Members, the Company may substitute individual notice by posting on the site bulletin board for one week or more. However, individual notice shall be given for matters that have a significant impact on the Member's own transaction.
③Matters that have a significant impact on Members, such as the discontinuation of a Linked Service and the deletion of created data, shall be notified individually pursuant to the proviso of Paragraph 2.
Article 10Formation of Usage Contract
①The usage contract is formed by the Member's application for use with respect to the contents of these Terms and the Company's acceptance thereof.
②However, in the following cases the usage contract may not be formed or may be restricted:
  1. Where there is false information, omission or error in the application details.
  2. Where the applicant has previously lost membership qualification due to a violation of the Terms during service use.
  3. Where use for the purpose of unjust profit is confirmed.
  4. Where the email address duplicates one already registered.
  5. Where approval is impossible due to technical problems of the site.
  6. Where the Company judges that acceptance would cause a material technical impediment.
Article 11Provision of Information and Advertising
①The Company may provide non-advertising information necessary for the provision of the Service, such as performance of the contract, account security, service failures and policy changes, through the service screen or by email. The Company distinguishes between notices required by contract or law and advertising information that is received on an optional basis.
②Advertisements may be displayed on the service screen. The use of the Service or mere exposure to on-screen advertising shall not be deemed consent to the transmission of advertising information by email, text message or similar means.
③When transmitting advertising information, the Company complies with the relevant laws including Article 50 of the 「Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Etc.」. Except for statutory exceptions, the Company obtains explicit prior consent, indicates the sender and the method of refusing receipt, and does not obstruct the refusal of receipt or the withdrawal of consent nor impose the cost thereof on the User.
Article 12Service Hours
①Service hours shall, in principle, be twenty-four (24) hours a day (00:00–24:00), except where this is impossible for business or technical reasons of the Company. However, the Company may divide the Service into specific ranges and set separate dates and times for reasons such as regular inspection of service facilities.
②The service hours of a Linked Service shall follow the guidance screen of that service, and in the case of an experimental service an operating period may be predetermined.
Article 13Collection and Use of Personal Information
①When collecting a User's personal information, the Company collects it to the minimum extent necessary for the provision of the Service.
②The Company collects and uses personal information on a lawful basis such as Article 15 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」. Where consent is required, the Company informs the User of the purpose, items, retention period, right of refusal and any resulting disadvantage and obtains consent; where processing is carried out without consent, such as for the performance of a contract or compliance with a legal obligation, the Company discloses the relevant items and legal bases separately.
③The Company may not use the collected personal information for purposes other than those stated, and where a new purpose of use arises or where the information is provided to a third party, the Company notifies the User of the purpose and obtains consent at the stage of use or provision. However, exceptions are made where otherwise provided by the relevant laws.
④Where the Company provides personal information overseas (including where it is made accessible), entrusts its processing overseas or stores it overseas, the Company shall have a lawful basis and protective measures pursuant to Article 28-8 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」. The Company shall disclose or notify, in accordance with the law, the items transferred, the country, timing and method of transfer, the name and contact details of the recipient, the purpose and retention period, and the method, procedure and effect of refusing the transfer, and shall obtain separate consent where required.
⑤Where the Company makes a decision by processing personal information through a fully automated system, it discloses the fact, the purpose and subject, the main personal information used, the criteria and procedures and the methods of exercising rights, and guarantees the User's rights under Article 15. The mere fact that an AI function is used is distinguished from whether the matter constitutes an automated decision under the law.
⑥The Company may use a Member's account information for the purpose of login authentication and service provision in respect of Linked Services operated by the Company. This constitutes internal use within the Company as the same personal information controller and is not provision to a third party; the Company discloses the items transmitted and the purposes thereof pursuant to Article 5-2, Paragraph 4 before transmitting them, and obtains separate consent for matters requiring consent under the law. Specific matters shall be governed by the 「QuizN Privacy Policy」.
Article 14Change of Personal Information
①Members may view and change their personal information on the personal information management screen.
②Where damage arises because a Member failed to notify necessary changes, liability shall be determined in accordance with the relevant laws, taking into account the parties' attributable causes and causation. This does not exempt the Company from liability for damage arising from causes attributable to the Company.
③Where a Member selects a nickname or similar identifier, the Company may change it if it falls under any of the following grounds deemed to require a change:
  1. Where it infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
  2. Where it impersonates another user.
  3. Where it causes offence to others.
  4. Where there is a concern of privacy infringement because it is registered as the Member's telephone number or similar information.
  5. Where there are other reasonable grounds recognized by the Company.
④Because a Member's ID (email address) is used for account identification and for authentication with Linked Services, the function to change it directly may be restricted. However, where correction of an email error, change of an unusable email address or account recovery is necessary, the Member may make a request to the customer center or the Chief Privacy Officer, and the Company shall verify the Member's identity and the consistency of account security and linkage and inform the Member of the method of processing.
Article 15Rights of Data Subjects
①Members and non-members may, in accordance with the relevant laws, request access to, correction of, deletion of or suspension of the processing of their personal information processed by the Company, and may withdraw consent. Such rights may also be exercised through a legal representative or a duly authorized agent.
②Users have the following rights with respect to automated decisions under Article 37-2 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」:
  1. The right to confirm the fact, purpose and subject of the automated decision, the main personal information, criteria and procedures, and the methods of exercising rights.
  2. The right to request an explanation of the result, criteria and processing of the automated decision.
  3. The right to submit opinions, including additional information, and to request a review of whether they have been reflected.
  4. The right to refuse an automated decision that has a significant impact on one's rights or obligations. This excludes cases where a statutory exception applies, such as decisions made pursuant to Article 15, Paragraph 1, Items 1, 2 or 4 of the same Act.
③Where personal information is transferred overseas, the Company discloses the country of transfer, the date and method of transfer and information on the recipient through the Privacy Policy and these Terms.
④The Company, or a third party that has received personal information from it, shall destroy the personal information without delay once the purpose of collection or the purpose for which it was provided has been achieved.
⑤A Member may discontinue the use of a particular Linked Service while maintaining the QuizN Account and request deletion of the relevant information; in this case Article 5-2, Paragraph 6 applies.
⑥Rights may be exercised in writing, by email, by telephone or through the service procedures provided by the Company, and the Company shall take action within the statutory time limits after verifying identity and, where applicable, authority of representation. Requests to refuse an automated decision or to obtain an explanation or review shall, in principle, be processed within thirty (30) days; where there is a justifiable reason, the Company may extend this period twice, by up to thirty (30) days on each occasion, after informing the User of the reason. Where a request is refused or restricted, the Company shall inform the User of the reason and the method of raising an objection.
Article 16Management and Deletion of Member Information
①The Company provides procedures for exercising rights such as access to, correction of and deletion of personal information. Data export functions follow the guidance for each service, and where separate statutory rights such as the right to request transmission under the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 apply, they are guaranteed in accordance with the requirements and procedures thereof.
②The Company retains personal information only for the period necessary for the purpose of processing. Where it becomes unnecessary due to withdrawal, achievement of the purpose or expiry of the retention period, it is destroyed without delay; information subject to statutory retention or for which there is a separate lawful basis is handled separately according to that basis, item and period. The Company does not extend retention periods indefinitely on the sole ground of "operational necessity".
③Upon deletion of member and account information, the relevant personal information and the data created by the Member are destroyed without delay and cannot be recovered. The Company applies an internal processing standard of completing destruction within five (5) days unless there is a justifiable reason. The Privacy Policy applies to the specific handling of information subject to retention under other laws and of backups; the obligation to destroy personal information is not excluded on the sole ground that the data is held in a backup.
④The scope of deletion under Paragraph 3 includes the data created by the Member in Linked Services and the account information transmitted to Linked Services.
⑤Materials posted or shared by other users may not be automatically deleted solely upon withdrawal of the Member's account. However, where such materials contain the Member's personal information, the Member may request deletion or suspension of processing in accordance with the relevant laws, and the Company shall handle the request taking into account the personal information, the rights of third parties and any statutory grounds for restriction.
⑥If you wish to temporarily stop using the product without deleting your account, you may deactivate the account.
⑦Deletion of a Member's account information (including created information) may be requested at any time by contacting the Company's Chief Privacy Officer set out in Paragraph 3 of the Addendum. (Please refer to the "Privacy Policy" for the procedure and method of destroying personal information.)
Article 17Obligations of the Company

④Where the Company becomes aware of a leakage or similar incident involving personal information, it shall notify the data subject without delay in accordance with the requirements, time limits and methods set out in Article 34 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 and its Enforcement Decree, and shall report the matter to the Personal Information Protection Commission or the statutory specialized institution where the incident is subject to reporting. The Company shall also provide the necessary information to the relevant data subjects where the case falls within the statutory scope of a possible leakage. The notification shall include the items, time and circumstances of the leakage, the methods of minimizing harm, the response measures, remedial procedures and contact details, and the legal rights such as damages, statutory damages and dispute mediation and the methods of exercising them, and the Company shall take measures to prevent the spread of harm, such as retrieval and deletion.
Article 18Obligations Regarding Member ID and Password
①The Member is responsible for managing their ID and password.
②Members must not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
③If a Member becomes aware that their ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, the Member must notify the Company immediately and follow the Company's guidance if any is given.
④Liability for damage arising because a Member failed to inform the Company of theft or unauthorized use, or failed to follow reasonable security guidance, shall be determined according to the attributable cause and causation. This does not exempt the Company from liability for causes attributable to it, such as a breach of its security obligations.
⑤Where Single Sign-On is used, the Member's responsibility for managing the QuizN Account applies equally to the use of Linked Services.

②A User may withdraw the subscription within seven (7) days from the date of receiving the written document concerning the contents of the contract. Where the supply of the service begins later than that date, the period shall be counted from the date of supply or the date on which supply began; where a written document has not been delivered, the address has not been indicated or the withdrawal of subscription has been obstructed, the starting point prescribed in Article 17 of the 「Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc.」 shall apply. No penalty or damages shall be imposed on the ground of a statutory withdrawal of subscription.
③Where the provision of services or digital content has commenced, withdrawal of subscription may be restricted; however, the Company must satisfy the statutory requirements for such restriction and take the necessary measures such as prior indication and the provision of a trial or test use. Portions of divisible services or content for which provision has not commenced shall be assessed separately. Mere login, completion of payment or the existence of a usage record alone shall not exclude all withdrawal of subscription and refunds.
④Early termination of a monthly, annual or other subscription contract is distinguished from withdrawal of subscription. In calculating a refund, the Company shall, on the basis of the actual contract and payment amount, separately calculate the amount corresponding to the usage period or volume already provided and any reasonable termination deduction that is permitted by law and was clearly explained at the time of contract, and shall provide the User with the calculation details. The Company shall not make unduly excessive deductions, such as retroactively applying the standard monthly fee before discount while also double-deducting a separate fee. Specific calculation standards for each product shall be set out in a refund policy consistent with the relevant laws and explained before payment.
⑤Where the service differs from the labelling or advertising or has been performed differently from the contract, the User may withdraw the subscription within the statutory periods, such as within three (3) months from the date of supply or within thirty (30) days from the date on which the User became aware or could have become aware of the fact. Where there is a cause attributable to the Company, a defect in the service or a statutory ground for rescission or termination, the Company shall not refuse a refund solely on the ground of a usage record.
⑥Refunds following a withdrawal of subscription shall be processed within three (3) business days from the date of withdrawal where services or digital content have been supplied or have not yet been supplied, and from the date of receiving the returned goods where goods subject to return have been supplied. Cancellation and refund shall be made primarily through the original payment method; where this is impossible, the Company shall explain the reason and an alternative method. Where a refund is delayed, the Company shall pay delay compensation in accordance with the relevant laws.
⑦Users may request withdrawal of subscription, termination or refund through the termination and refund procedures within the Service or through the customer center. The Company shall not, without justifiable reason, make the cancellation or termination procedure more complicated than the registration or payment procedure, nor compel the use of only one particular method. After the termination of a recurring payment, the Company shall ensure that no automatic payment occurs after the end date notified and shall inform the User of the result.
⑧Matters not stipulated in this Article shall be governed by the relevant laws and the applicable 「Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards」. Even where the scope of application differs, such as in business-to-business transactions, the Company shall comply with the mandatory provisions applicable to consumers and the provisions prohibiting unfair terms.
Article 25Indemnification
①To the extent that the Company cannot provide the Service due to force majeure that the Company cannot reasonably prevent or control, such as natural disasters, the Company's liability may be limited in accordance with the relevant laws. The Company is not exempted from its duty of care or its obligation to minimize harm solely on the ground of a communications failure.
②General information and AI outputs provided in the Service may contain errors or limitations, and the Company does not guarantee all outcomes beyond the quality and performance expressly agreed by the Company. However, where there is intent or negligence on the part of the Company, a breach of contractual obligations or liability under the law, the Company shall bear liability in accordance with the relevant laws.
③Where a record of receipt cannot be found in the Company's system, the Company shall verify and process objective materials presented by the User, such as payment or transmission records. The Company shall not deny a User's statutory rights or its own liability solely on the ground that a record cannot be found in the system.
④The Company does not guarantee all expected benefits of Users or the outcome of transactions between Users. However, where there is a cause attributable to the Company or an obligation to take measures or pay compensation under the relevant laws, the Company shall perform that obligation. The Company's statutory obligations are not excluded solely on the ground that a matter is a dispute between Users.
⑤Where a leakage or similar incident involving personal information occurs, the Company shall carry out the notification, reporting and harm-minimizing measures under Article 17, Paragraph 4. The performance of such measures alone does not automatically exempt or limit liability for damages; liability for damages shall be determined in accordance with the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 and other relevant laws.
⑥Where a Linked Service is an experimental service, its nature and the scope of liability are explained in the terms of service of that service. The Company shall not exclude liability for its intent or gross negligence, nor shift risks to Users without substantial reason, solely on the ground that a service is free or experimental, and limitations of liability contrary to the 「Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions」 shall not apply.
Article 26Dispute Resolution
①The Company establishes and operates a damage compensation handling body in order to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by Users and to compensate for damage.
